The Maker: Betty Jo Wolfe
“I believe that the most powerful medicine isn't found on a shelf, but under our feet and among the trees.” Hello, I’m Betty Jo, the hands and heart behind Fairy Cottage Herbal Creations. My journey into the world of wild-crafting began with a simple promise: to honour the earth as deeply as I honour the body. I spent years wandering the fields and bush, learning the quiet language of the plants—discovering how a humble Dandelion carries the sun's resilience and how Fireweed holds the secret to restoration.

A Different Way of Creating
I don’t just "make" products; I steward them. When you see me in the woods, I’m not just harvesting; I’m listening. I forage with an eye toward the future, ensuring that every patch of herbs I touch will continue to flourish for the generations to come. At the Fairy Cottage, there are no assembly lines or industrial vats. Every salve is hand-poured, every oil is sun-infused for six weeks, and every balm is tended by moonlight and Fairie hands. I treat every creation—whether it’s a healing salve for an "owie" or a delicate intimate oil—with the same medicinal-grade reverence.

My Promise to You
When you bring a Fairy Cottage creation into your home, you are bringing in a piece of the wild. You are choosing a path of zero compromise, where beauty is clean, healing is potent, and every ingredient is pure enough to trust on your most sensitive skin. I created this apothecary for the seekers, the mothers, the dreamers, and everyone who believes that self-care should be a sacred ritual. Thank you for trusting me to be a part of your healing journey. From our home to yours, Betty Jo Wolfe, Maker, Forager, & Dreamkeeper
